Laundry is my favorite chore. Now I know what you're thinking, "Is she crazy?" But the laundry room is my favorite space in my home and that's not by chance, I set it up that way! Here are a few things to consider when beginning an organizing extravaganza in your laundry room: make sure you can see the wash products that you have, your washer/dryer are in an area that is accessible to you, and add special touches to make it feel like home. Decanting should be a sport. In fact, yes it definitely is a sport what am I saying? I like to decant powders such as borax or washing powder in tall glass jars with lids, and liquids such as detergent or bleach in glass dispensers with a spout. Keep them on a shelf above your washer and dryer for quick and easy access. You will easily know exactly when you need to re-fill! Before our laundry room renovation started, the room was a mess. It was super chaotic not to mention my dryer wasn't even inside my house! I dreaded going in...
