How To Motivate Your Kids To Help De-clutter and Organize Your Home!

We all want to teach our kids how to become responsible and capable humans, and we do that best by modeling the behaviors that we want to teach them. This means including them in the projects you want to accomplish around the house! Here are five ways to help motivate your kids to get involved in de-cluttering, organizing, and tidying your home: 1. Make it a game. No matter the game you choose, everyone wins! 2. Keep things age appropriate. A two year old is not going to understand or perform the same way that an 8 year old will, so assign jobs that each individual will be able to complete (with confidence!). They will not only feel good because they helped Mom, but they will know exactly what to do next time. Practicing the skil...

Tips For Hassle-Free Traveling With Your Family

The number one thing that I always tell my clients and even my friends and family is to do things that will make your life easier . Here are my top tips to make traveling (whether solo or with your family) much easier: Make a list. This can apply to many aspects of life, but making a list when traveling is especially important. It can be easy to forget something minor that I wanted to bring, and it can be a big disappointment if I forget something important I needed to bring, so I make a list. Start with the most obvious and also important things, going all the way down to something as simple as dental floss. Make a "to pack" list as well as a "morning of" list. There are tasks that I can accomplish ahead of time, and t...

My tiresome trip with the three littles was about to be done! Not quite. The joke was on me. After double checking my list, I realized there were a few items I had missed and I now needed to walk back to the other side of the store to get them. Nope. Not again, not ever again am I going to do this to myself, I thought. And so, The Ultimate Grocery Shopping list was created.
