I was in the produce section saying yes to every fruit and vegetable my children asked to get, when I saw it - the checkout counter. With the end in sight, I hit my second wind. It came just in time to unpack, scan, and then repack everything back into the cart. Despite the dreaded work of checking out, I had hope. My tiresome trip with the three littles was about to be done! Not quite. The joke was on me. After double checking my list, I realized there were a few items I had missed and I now needed to walk back to the other side of the store to get them. Nope.
