Getting Organized For The Holidays

 The holidays are finally here and I don't know if I'm more excited about eating or decorating. Both can be stressful when you're also squeezing in family, shopping, and seasonal events. Take a deep breath and grab your favorite hot drink because this list is going to help make your holiday season merry and bright! Reorganize your holiday schedule. It is easy to overextend ourselves, but limiting ourselves to what we enjoy doing the most will make this season extra special. This next step is one that I cannot live without - make a list! Create a master list with all of your major holiday to-do's such as prepping your home, gift giving, and holiday party hosting. Once you have all of your thoughts on paper, try ordering your list and checking it off top to bottom.  The holidays are the perfect time to de-clutter and purge in order to make room for incoming cards and gifts.  Do you have trouble ridding your home of things? Yes I said it, things . It can be hard to think about your stuff being anywhere but exactly where it is. The secret is to think positive. Imagine what you would love your home to truly be, and work towards that. There are five simple questions to be addressed when playing the organizing game, will you be able to answer honestly? You know that super cute sweater that you look at every winter and then decide against wearing? Yeah, I know, I have that sweater too because I never wear it.
